Lesson 1: Your Path to Unstuck Growth and Lasting Success

Hey, my name’s John, my friends call me Red, I’m from YBR Education and welcome to Quantum Foundations Genesis. This is an online training program specifically designed for coaches, consultants, experts, and entrepreneurs.

The fundamental reason we’ve created this program is that we’ve work extensively with professionals like you—coaches, consultants, experts, and entrepreneurs—helping them grow and scale their businesses. However, sometimes when clients or prospects come to me, they’re not yet at the point where they’re ready to scale effectively. Their foundations might be a bit shaky.

So, we’ve created the course for those of you who are in the earlier stages of your business or those who feel their current foundations aren’t stable enough for sustained growth. This program is primarily for two types of business owners:

  1. Those in the early stages, making less than $10,000 a month.
  2. Anyone beyond $10,000 a month but feeling like their foundations are not so stable and they risk slipping back.

Basically, what we’re going to be covering is how to really solidify those foundations so you can continue growing and moving forward with confidence.

What This Program Will Help You Achieve: Specifically, in the Genesis course, I’m going to show you:

  • How to never feel ‘stuck’ in your business again.
  • How to always know what you should be doing to grow and when.
  • Why, if you’ve ever tried online training programs in the past and they haven’t worked, that is, and how to never waste money on coaches or programs again.
  • What to focus on right now based on where you are, depending on the different levels of business growth.
  • Why things may not have worked for you in the past and why they will likely continue not to work until you understand and implement what we’re going to be covering in this initial part of the program, which we call Genesis.

So, why do we call this Quantum Foundations? In the world of quantum physics, particles exist in a state of pure potential until they are observed or measured, at which point they collapse into a definite state.

Your business success works in a similar way. It exists as potential. The ‘traits’ we’re about to discuss—like discipline, persistence, and proactivity—are the acts of ‘observation’ and ‘measurement’. They are what turn the potential for a successful business into an actual, tangible reality. You can have all the skills (the theory), but without the traits (the action), your success remains a mere possibility. This course is about learning to be the ‘observer’ that makes success inevitable.”

The Quantum Philosophy: Traits First, Then Skills So, why are we putting this together? As I mentioned, we work with coaches, consultants, experts, entrepreneurs, and done-for-you (DFY) service owners, helping them start, grow, and scale their businesses. The primary way we do that is by helping them develop skills.

However, the problem with teaching skills—and a common issue with online education in general—is that while skills are undeniably important and a necessity for success, they are not all that matters. You’ve got your skills, but you also have your traits—your individual character traits.

If we look at skills and traits together, they’re basically multiples. You could have a lot of skills, but if you don’t have the right traits, a thousand times zero equals zero. On the other hand, you may not have exceptional skills initially, but if you have the right traits, the ultimate aggregate result can be much greater.

A good way to think of this is like an archer shooting at a target.

  • Traits are how often you shoot the arrow (your frequency of action).

  • Skills are your accuracy (the percentage chance you’ll hit the target when you shoot).

Let’s look at the math. Imagine you work 250 days a year.

As you can see, the archer with terrible accuracy (1%) but powerful traits (shooting 100 times a day) will still get more hits over a year than the highly skilled archer who lacks the discipline to take action.

Most business owners chase the 80% accuracy first. They spend years trying to perfect their skills before they ever develop the habit of shooting the arrow consistently. Our philosophy is different. We first build the trait of shooting 100 arrows a day. Even with 1% accuracy, you’ll get results. Then, as we improve your skill, your success doesn’t just grow—it multiplies exponentially. That is the path to building a truly robust and scalable business.”

So, let’s take a moment to be honest with ourselves. Thinking about your business journey so far, which archer are you?

  • Have you been the High-Skill, Low-Action Archer? Spending months or years learning, perfecting, and planning, but taking very little decisive action each day?

  • Have you been the High-Action, Low-Skill Archer? Trying a lot of things, making a lot of ‘noise’, but without a clear strategy, feeling like you’re firing blindly?

  • Or are you somewhere else entirely?

There’s no right or wrong answer. The first step is simply awareness. This program is designed to get you to the ‘High Traits, High Skills’ quadrant, and it starts by focusing on the frequency of your shots.

Your Genesis Action Step: Define Your Traits

“Before you move on to Lesson 2, your first task is to get clear on the traits we’re talking about. We’ve mentioned discipline and persistence, but let’s be more specific. The foundational traits for business growth include:

  • Discipline: The ability to do what needs to be done, even when you don’t feel like it.

  • Resilience: The ability to bounce back from setbacks and failures without losing momentum.

  • Coachability: The willingness to take feedback and implement advice.

  • Proactivity: The drive to take initiative rather than waiting for instructions or the ‘perfect’ moment.

Your Task: Click the link to access the “Interactive Trait Assessment Tool”. On a scale of 1-10, rate yourself on each of these four traits. Then, answer one question: ‘Which single trait, if improved, would have the biggest impact on the number of ‘arrows’ you shoot each day?’

This isn’t about judgment; it’s about establishing your baseline. In the upcoming lessons, we’ll show you exactly how to cultivate these traits to build a foundation for unstoppable growth.”
